UNDERSTANDING YOUR TRANSITION ASSESSMENT RESULT
The higher your score, the greater the potential that you may be in the midst of a transition.
What does it mean if I am in a transition?
Transitions are in between times in our lives when God does some of his deepest work. If you sense you are in a transition, you are not alone, they are common to every person who follows Christ. The goal isn’t to get out of it, but rather to get the most out of it.
Factors to consider when interpreting your result*
1. Duration
How long have you been feeling this way? Some of the symptoms you've listed, you might feel them often. But with a transition, characteristics like these persist over a prolonged period.
2. More than a job change
Transition moments are significant times when God develops you personally. More than a job, geographical, life stages, and circumstantial changes, transitions are reflected by times of personal frustrations related to deeper topics such as life, meaning, and. purpose.
3. Objectivity
All of us are subjective when it comes to personal assessment and evaluation. Scores and results like these should always be processed with a coach or someone who can help you reach a more ‘objective’ viewpoint on the scores and overall results.
Coaching questions to help you process and reflect*
What are your initial thoughts on this assessment? Does it make sense?
How long have you been experiencing the transition symptoms?
How would you describe your relationship with God during this time?
In what areas do you need to find clarity?
If nothing changes, where will you be in the next 3 - 6 months?
What is your greatest need right now?
Who can help you process what's going on?
